Program Note

Written in anticipation of my private studies in composition to gain further perspective into the art of developing creative ideas.

Using its definition as inspiration, this piece centers around the idea of sweet and fortunate serendipity. Notice how the opening section leading up to the arrival of the main theme conveys the state of mind before serendipity strikes, and then listen to how joyfully the scene rejoices in its passing.
